Terms & Conditions
Fullsend Fest 2027
21–23 January 2027 | Whanganui, New Zealand
These Terms & Conditions apply to all attendees, participants, teams, ticket holders, volunteers and other persons attending or participating in Fullsend Fest 2027 ("Fullsend Fest", "the Festival", "we", "us" or "our").
By purchasing a ticket, registering for a sporting competition, entering the Festival or participating in any Fullsend Fest activity, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. The Event
Fullsend Fest is a sports and music festival held in Whanganui from 21–23 January 2027.
The Festival includes sporting competitions, entertainment and other Festival activities across various venues in Whanganui.
Event locations, schedules, performers, sporting competitions and other Festival details may be subject to change.
Fullsend Fest reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the Festival programme, venues, timings, activities or other event details where necessary.
2. Festival Passes
Festival Passes provide access to the specific Festival event or day stated on the ticket.
Festival Passes are purchased through Ticketmaster and are subject to Ticketmaster's applicable terms and conditions.
A Festival Pass does not automatically provide entry into any sporting competition. Sporting competitions require the relevant Sport Pass or team registration.
Tickets must be presented when requested and may be checked at entry.
Fullsend Fest reserves the right to refuse entry where a ticket is invalid, duplicated, cancelled, fraudulently obtained or otherwise not valid for the event.
3. Sport Passes & Team Registration
Sport Passes provide access to the specific sporting competition selected during registration.
Fullsend Fest may include a range of sporting competitions and activities, with the available competitions listed on the Fullsend Fest website.
Sporting competitions may take place at different venues and on different days throughout the Festival.
Teams and participants must provide accurate information during registration and comply with any competition-specific requirements.
All participants must follow the rules of their relevant sport, competition officials and venue.
Fullsend Fest reserves the right to refuse or cancel a team or participant's registration where registration requirements have not been met or where participation would create a safety, operational or sporting concern.
4. Tickets, Refunds & Cancellations
Festival Passes
Festival Passes purchased through Ticketmaster are subject to Ticketmaster's applicable terms and conditions.
Where Fullsend Fest is cancelled, Festival Pass holders will be eligible for a refund through Ticketmaster in accordance with Ticketmaster's refund process.
For other refund requests, the applicable Ticketmaster terms and conditions will apply.
Sport Passes
Sport Passes may be refunded up to 7 days before the team's scheduled competition date.
After this 7-day deadline, Sport Passes are non-refundable, including where a team chooses to withdraw or a participant is unable to attend.
If a sporting event or competition is cancelled by Fullsend Fest and is unable to proceed, registered teams will be eligible for a refund of their Sport Pass.
Team Withdrawals
Teams may withdraw from a competition and request a refund up to 7 days before their scheduled competition date.
After this deadline, team registrations are non-refundable.
Fullsend Fest may, at its discretion, allow a team registration to be transferred or otherwise reassigned where appropriate.
Player Changes & Replacements
If an individual player is unable to attend, the team may nominate a replacement player, provided the replacement meets all eligibility requirements for the relevant competition.
Any player replacements or changes to a team's registered player list must be submitted to Fullsend Fest no later than 7 days before the team's scheduled competition date.
Changes requested after this deadline may be refused at the discretion of Fullsend Fest.
A player being unable to attend does not entitle the team or individual to an additional refund where the team's Sport Pass has already passed the 7-day refund deadline.
Event Cancellation
If a sporting competition is cancelled by Fullsend Fest and is unable to proceed, registered teams will be eligible for a refund of their Sport Pass.
If a competition is postponed, relocated or otherwise modified but still proceeds, a refund will not automatically apply.
Where a competition is postponed or significantly changed, Fullsend Fest will communicate any available options directly to affected teams or participants.
5. Event Changes
Fullsend Fest reserves the right to change the Festival programme, event times, sporting fixtures, venues, performers or other event details where reasonably necessary.
Changes may be made for operational, safety, venue, weather or other circumstances.
Where reasonably possible, affected attendees and participants will be notified of significant changes.
6. Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
Some Fullsend Fest activities take place outdoors and may be affected by weather or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
This may include severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, public safety concerns, venue closures, infrastructure failures or other unforeseen circumstances.
Fullsend Fest may delay, relocate, modify or cancel an activity where reasonably necessary for safety or operational reasons.
Where an event is cancelled as a result of unforeseen circumstances, Fullsend Fest will determine the appropriate refund or alternative arrangements, subject to these Terms & Conditions and applicable New Zealand law.
7. Sporting Participation & Safety
Participation in sporting activities carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically capable of participating in their selected activity and should take appropriate precautions before participating.
Participants must follow reasonable instructions from Fullsend Fest staff, officials, referees, medical personnel and venue staff.
Fullsend Fest reserves the right to remove a participant from an activity where their participation presents a risk to themselves or others.
8. Code of Conduct
All attendees and participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly.
The following behaviour will not be tolerated:
-
Violence or threatening behaviour
-
Harassment, bullying or discrimination
-
Deliberate damage to property
-
Dangerous or reckless behaviour
-
Disrupting sporting competitions or Festival activities
-
Refusing to follow reasonable instructions from Festival or venue staff
-
Any behaviour that puts other attendees, participants, staff or the public at risk
Fullsend Fest reserves the right to remove any person from the Festival or prohibit them from participating in an activity where their behaviour is inappropriate, unsafe or disruptive.
A person removed from the Festival due to unacceptable behaviour will not ordinarily be entitled to a refund.
9. Entry & Right to Refuse Admission
Fullsend Fest reserves the right to refuse entry or remove a person from the Festival where reasonably necessary for safety, security, operational or behavioural reasons.
Attendees may be required to comply with venue rules and reasonable security procedures.
Any prohibited items or activities identified by Fullsend Fest, venue management or security personnel may result in refusal of entry or removal from the event.
10. Minors
Parents, guardians and caregivers are responsible for ensuring that any person under their care complies with these Terms & Conditions and applicable venue requirements.
Where an activity has a specific age requirement, participants must meet that requirement.
Fullsend Fest reserves the right to request proof of age or other identification where reasonably required.
11. Photography, Video & Media
Fullsend Fest and its authorised photographers, videographers and media partners may photograph, film or otherwise record the Festival.
By attending or participating in Fullsend Fest, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs, video footage or other recordings captured during the event.
These recordings may be used by Fullsend Fest and its authorised partners for promotional, marketing, social media, advertising, editorial and archival purposes.
12. Personal Information
Information collected through ticket purchases, registrations, enquiries and other Festival activities may be used for purposes connected with organising and operating Fullsend Fest.
This may include processing tickets and registrations, communicating important Festival information, managing sporting competitions, contacting participants regarding event changes, managing safety and emergency requirements, and providing Festival-related services.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy laws and Fullsend Fest's Privacy Policy.
13. Property & Personal Belongings
Attendees and participants are responsible for their own personal belongings.
Fullsend Fest is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Lost property should be reported to Festival staff as soon as possible.

Where alcohol is available at Fullsend Fest, all applicable New Zealand alcohol laws and venue licensing conditions apply.

Anyone who is intoxicated, behaving dangerously or breaching licensing or venue requirements may be refused entry or removed from the event.
15. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Fullsend Fest, its organisers, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, venues and associated personnel are not responsible for loss, damage, injury or expense arising from attendance at or participation in the Festival, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under New Zealand law, including rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, where applicable.
16. Compliance With New Zealand Law
All attendees and participants must comply with applicable New Zealand laws, regulations and venue requirements while attending or participating in Fullsend Fest.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
